Let us show you around the extensive domain of La Chassagne, which consists of two stream valleys, several hills and lots of forest and meadows. La Chassagne is an old name for oak forest.
The camping site is 2.5 hectares with 38 pitches. In the morning you wake up to the sounds of birds. Join us for a trip into the green surroundings where butterflies flutter around you. While walking we come across medieval towers, we cross untamed streams and cross meadows and forests. By bike we have within reach the rugged river valley of the Cher, the medieval city of Montluçon and Néris les Bains (a spa town since Roman times). Finally, the children splash in the pool in the evening to cool off.
In high season you can order bread three mornings a week. In our restaurant you can enjoy the “plat du jour” (today's special) a few times a week.
In the office you can find tourist information about the area. We have brochures available and put together a collection of activity cards for you. These cards can also be found on this site under the following links: On and around the campsite, tips, activities, swimming opportunities, châteaux, gardens, cities en museums. If you want to go out on foot or by bike, we also have walking and cycling routes available to borrow.
